So, you just got engaged?
Congratulations. Now it's time for you to plan your wedding. Being organized
always pays, this is page 2 of our handy 12-month checklist to make your big
day fuss-free.

months to go
- For guests coming from
out of town, arrange their accommodation.
- Follow up any late
invitation replies and finalise the guest list.
- Complete your Notice
of Intended Marriage form and meet with your officiant to discuss the ceremony
procedures.
- It's tradition for
you as the bride and groom to offer your bridal party gifts, so think about
what you want to give them. Jewellery is always a good option as it's something
that can be kept and cherished (see our sterling silver range).
- If you haven't already
started, get together and write your wedding vows.
2 months to go
- The countdown is on.
As the bride, if you are taking your fiance's surname, do the paperwork
now.
- Organise the next few
days after the wedding day, including a room for the wedding night.
- Finalise and confirm
all venues, caterers, photographers, musicians, hairdressers and make-up
artists.
- Book in a massage or
facial for yourself (and your fiancé if he wants!)
- If your bonboniere
is being made by friends and family - now is a good time to start
2 weeks to go
- Speak to your florist
to confirm delivery time and location
- Have a final dress
fitting that includes everything you'll wear on the day, including shoes,
accessories and underwear.
- Have a final make-up
and hair trial.
- Confirm reception guest
seating.
1 week to go
- Meet
with your bridal party and run through the events of the day for a final
time.
- Treat yourself to a
manicure and pedicure - and a facial to calm those nerves!
- Get your clothes and
luggage ready for the honeymoon.
- Confirm the date for
delivery of your cake
1 day to go
- Have your dress and
accessories laid out ready to go for the next day.
- Have a moment with
your bridal party and give them their gifts - thanking them for being part
of this special occasion.
- Try to get an early
night and some decent sleep!
Your wedding day
It's your big day, so don't worry about anything. You've planned well, so
enjoy this amazing experience!
